WELCOME TO COFFEE WITH GOD

WHO DOES GOD SEE IN YOU

Never judge yourself by what the world says you are. Judge yourself by who God says you are. When Samuel came to Jesse to pick which of his sons would be the King, no one believed it would be the young shepherd boy. Samuel looked at each son from the oldest to the youngest. They didn’t even have David in the line. Samual said when to each son one by one came, he said no this is not the one seven times. Then Samual asks if this, was these seven sons all of Jesses sons? He said no there was the youngest son who was watching over the sheep herd. Samual requested to see the youngest son. Immediately Samual said this it the one and anointed David to be King with oil and God blessed David from that day forward. Read this in 1 Samuel 16:6-13.

1 Samuel 16:7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”

I ask you, was David a perfect man? We all know he was not, the worst thing King David did was sleep with another mans wife, then found her with child, so he caused her husband to be killed, and he married her after this. Then Nathan rebukes King David for what he did. David repented deeply and regretted what he had done. King David’s son born to Bathsheba dies as a result of King David’s sin. 2 Samuel chapters 11 and 12 tell this story.

When you read the Bible seeking the truth that you will find there, you will find that many of the people called of God sinned, sins no one would expect would be chosen by God. Just look at Paul’s life. He called himself the chief of sinners! Yet he was one of the main writers of the New Testament. 1 Timothy 1:15. God does not call sinless people for there was only one, JESUS. All others have sinned against God.

Do not let the devil deceive you into thinking you are not good enough to serve God. Each one of us is given a gift to use for God, read Romans 12:6 and 1 Peter 4:10. Seek to know your gift and stand on it. Just remember God’s gifts are given to serve others, to help others to become a child of God or to grow in their faith as a child of God. No one but Jesus is perfect, we are to have mercy and grace for God’s people and not expect them to be perfect, we cannot be perfect, but we sure can try to be as best we can. Remember that not being perfect is NOT AN EXCUSE to keep sinning! We must honestly do our best to please God by loving one another as Jesus loves us.

Anyone reading this, if you have not accepted Jesus as your personal Savior because you feel unworthy, that is a lie from the devil. No one deserves to be saved! We are saved by grace through Jesus Christ dying in our place! Jesus took the punishment for us, so we can be saved, and God will forgive us our sins. Then we must walk in “LOVE” for others and do our best to help others find Jesus and be a witness for Jesus in this life. Romans 10:9-10 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

THE MESSAGE OF SALVATION IS FOR ALL

Romans 10:9-10 ESV because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

I pray everyone who reads this will seek to know God in the deep and wonderful way of Salvation, all who will accept Jesus as their Savior will receive Salvation and your name will be in the BOOK OF LIFE. Remember that accepting Jesus as Savior means repentance and change in your life!
