FRIENDS ARE IMPORTANT
By Pastor Jerri
Friends love and support one another in good times and bad, encourage spiritual and personal growth, and build each other up. Friends should always be loyal and supportive. Good friends demonstrate unconditional love and loyalty, even during difficult times. One of the most talked about friendships in the Old Testament was David and Jonathan, King Saul’s son. That friendship saved David’s life a few times. Jesus calls God’s people His friends. John 15:15 No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.
When something important happens, we tell our friends! When we are hurt, we need our Godly friends. If a person is not saved and serving God, they will not be good friends for you. This doesn’t mean to shun unsaved people, just do not develop deep friendships with them until they are saved. We cannot help people find Jesus as Savior if we do not fellowship with them, just realize they are not saved, and cannot give you Godly advice. Always try to help unsaved people to know Jesus as Savior. Galatians 6:2 Bear one another's burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ,
Friends provide strength and help to each other, supporting one another through trials as Ecclesiastes 4 states… Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble.
A true friend is spoken of as perfume to another friend. Everyone should seek a Godly friend to fellowship with. Not only can that friend help you, but you can help that friend. Proverbs 27:9 Oil and perfume make the heart glad, and the sweetness of a friend comes from his earnest counsel.
Friends give honest feedback, even when it is difficult to do, because they have your best interests at heart. A good friend will give you good advice and not sugarcoat truth. When we are having a problem in life, we need Godly counsel to get through it the right way.
Many times, a friend’s problem is with forgiveness, either their inability to forgive someone else or someone else refusing to forgive them. A good friend will explain the truth, we must forgive others, even if they will not forgive us. Also, we must understand that it is not a problem for us if someone refuses to forgive us. We are not held accountable for their unforgiveness. We seek our forgiveness from God. God’s forgiveness is what matters. Colossians 3:13 bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.
Good friends avoid gossip and choose to provide love, covering over offenses rather than repeating them. Proverbs speak of this… Proverbs 17:9 Whoever covers an offense seeks love, but he who repeats a matter separates close friends.
Friends should live in agreement, honoring one another with a humble and selfless attitude. Choose friends wisely and do not associate with those who would negatively influence you; be friends with Godly people who give positive influence. 1 Corinthians 15:33 Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.” Remember, even Jesus had friends, 12 of them. He had three, Peter, James, and John who were His close friends that He even took with Him to the Transfiguration with Moses and Elijah. We all need friends, but we need honest God loving friends that will help us, and we can help them. The people who do not know Jesus cannot understand the Godly love Christians share with each other. With good friends, sometimes we can agree to disagree about matters that are not contrary to the Bible.
I value my friends as gold from God! They have helped me through so many trials in my life. Seek to have Christian friends that share God’s love and care for each other. Friends are a true blessing and should always be cherished.
Romans 10:9-10 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.
All you must do is believe God and accept Jesus as YOUR LORD AND SAVIOR.

HIGH PRIESTLY PRAYER
Have you ever wished that you could ask Jesus to pray for you personally? Well, your request has been answered! Read John chapter 17, this is Jesus’ prayer for you to God. What did Jesus ask God to do for you?
Jesus prayed that God would give everyone who loved Him eternal life, that they would know God and Him, who God sent, knowing and accepting Jesus as Savior and Lord is eternal life!
Then Jesus told God that He had taught the people that have accepted Him, believed Him and kept God’s word, that He was the Savior and if they followed Him, they would have eternal life!
Then Jesus told God, He was praying for those who believed and follow Him. Then He asked God to keep them in His Name, and that they would be with Jesus in heaven.
Jesus told God that His time was soon coming that He would join God in heaven and He wanted God to protect them from evil.
Jesus told God that He had given His followers power in His Name and sent them out to tell others about Him so they also could be Saved.
Jesus explained that all those that come to Jesus through their testimony, would also be Saved and follow Him.
Jesus asked that the glory that God has given Him, He has given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me.
Then Jesus said these powerful words on our behalf: Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory that you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world.
Jesus ended His prayer for us in saying this: O righteous Father, even though the world does not know you, I know you, and these know that you have sent me. I made known to them Your Name, and I will continue to make it known that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.
You see Jesus has already prayed for you and that is a powerful prayer. God heard His prayer and has answered it. This is what God and Jesus wants for each one of us! Listen, hear His words.
Romans 10:9-10 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.
You know that God listens to Jesus’ prayers, and He will do what Jesus has asked Him to do. All you must do is believe God and accept Jesus as YOUR LORD AND SAVIOR.
MARANATHA, AMEN

Daniel 7:9-10 As I looked, thrones were placed, and the Ancient of Days took his seat; his clothing was white as snow, and the hair of his head like pure wool; his throne was fiery flames; its wheels were burning fire. A stream of fire issued and came out from before him; a thousand thousands served him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him; the court sat in judgment, and the books were opened.

SEE GOD AS HE IS
I did this video when our Cowboy Church was still open. That church is closed now. I now have my ministry on this website.
God is a consuming fire, He is the creator of everything we see. God is an awesome God full of grace and mercy for those who seek Him.
ZECHARIAH CHAPTER THREE
Zechariah saw Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of the Lord and satan was standing to oppose him. This chapter is talking about a vision where God was explaining He will clean up His people, He rebukes satan. You should read the full chapter as this is a very strong story that can apply to our walk with God. It talks about the coming Branch, Jesus.
