WELCOME TO COFFEE WITH GOD

WE ARE WITNESSES
Fellowship is not an event; it is part of our lives as a Christian. There are different kinds of fellowship, there are activities we can do together and there are times when we just need someone to talk to or to pray with. Sometimes we even need someone to cry with us and understand our sorrow. All these needs can be met by keeping a good fellowship base, which is a big part of Christian life.
Fellowship with other Christian’s meeting for a meal together is something we all love to do. What we don’t always realize is that people are watching us all the time. Our actions when we are fellowshipping with others is a witness for Jesus to them. Sometimes we forget that. We should always try our best to help others when people see that they take notice.
Matthew 5:16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
God is telling us here very plainly that we need to have fellowship time and encourage each other and help build one another up. God even goes on to say in Matthew:
Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.
We need to know that if there is a group, even of two people, Jesus is there with them. This is awesome to realize! When we all get together, Jesus is there to help us. This is a reminder that our lives as Christian’s are to always be a witness to the fact that Jesus is our Lord. In other words, we are being told by Jesus to always consider what we are doing and how it will impact those who see us.
Romans 1:12 That is, that we may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith, both yours and mine.
God tells us in Galatians that we are to comfort each other; by this, we are doing the will of God. Fulfilling the law of Love! This means when we are with other people, we need to think about how we are acting and what we are saying.
Galatians 6:2 Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
We help each other by sharing our faith in Jesus with each other through fellowship. Fellowship... it is necessary. My favorite scripture on this is Ecclesiastes.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.
We need to always realize that fellowship is communicating with others. Be it a small group or a large one. What I am trying to say in this message is to always consider how you look to others in what you are doing and saying. This is how we walk as a witness for Jesus and give glory to God.
THE MESSAGE OF SALVATION IS FOR ALL
Romans 10:9-10 ESV because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.
I pray everyone who reads this will seek to know God in the deep and wonderful way of Salvation, all who will accept Jesus as their Savior will receive Salvation and your name will be in the BOOK OF LIFE. Remember that accepting Jesus as Savior means repentance and change in your life!
