IDOLATRY: DO NOT TAKE IT LIGHTLY
Throughout the Bible God has told us DO NOT WORSHIP OR SEEK ANSWERS for who you are, or what the future holds for you but God. The sin that angered God the most throughout the Bible was worshiping other gods. Do not seek wisdom from other gods. This is very dangerous even today. The devil deceives people every day with temptations to play a game that tell you something about yourself. Or to go to a fortune teller, or a horoscope! It seems innocent, the Bible says it is not, it is so very wrong, and it invites the devil to harass you and draw you away from God. It is evil! DO NOT DO THAT. These little games on your phone ask what kind of a dog you would be or who you would marry, or how many kids you will have. It is leading you right into seeking something else to define you. Only God knows your tomorrows, no one, or nothing else can tell you that. This is taught throughout the Bible Old and New Testament. Doing these seemingly harmless things will cause problems in your life and your salvation.
Zechariah 13:2 And on that day, declares the Lord of hosts, I will cut off the names of the idols from the land, so that they shall be remembered no more. And also I will remove from the land the prophets and the spirit of uncleanness.
There is so much false teaching out there, you must study the Bible to know the TRUTH! Check scriptures to understand if you are following Jesus or not. Salvation is a gift given to us by God so we can live for Him the rest of our lives. It isn’t given as a free ride! Read the Bible for yourself, your salvation depends on it.
Philippians 2:12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling
This verse doesn't mean that salvation is earned through works, but rather that believers should actively live out their faith, cooperating with God's work in them. This involves a process of personal transformation and obedience, motivated by gratitude for God's grace. Jesus obeyed God and we need to also. The Bible explains how we should live as Saved children of God. God always expects obedience. God never told anyone they can do whatever they want spiritually.
Galatians 5:16-24 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
Please make sure you are honoring God, Jesus and Holy Spirit with the way you live your life. God has given you a gift, respect it. Amen
THE MESSAGE OF SALVATION IS FOR ALL
Romans 10:9-10 ESV because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.
I pray everyone who reads this will seek to know God in the deep and wonderful way of Salvation, all who will accept Jesus as their Savior will receive Salvation and your name will be in the BOOK OF LIFE. Remember that accepting Jesus as Savior means repentance and change in your life!
