Life is very serious; it should never be taken lightly! Being a Christian is very serious and should never be taken lightly, either! Do not just THINK YOU ARE SAVED! Make sure! Jesus took your salvation very seriously. He died for you in a horrible death! Salvation is a personal relationship with Jesus as Savior and Lord from the heart. Do you have a personal relationship with Jesus? Is He special to you? Do you remember a time when you felt Jesus’s love for you and changed your life forever? Was there a moment when you knew Jesus was your Lord and Savior? These are questions you should ask yourself.

Matthew 7:21-23 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

The Bible tells us to study to show ourselves approved (2 Timothy 2:15). Do not take serving God casually; He didn't! Just because we go to Church, or act Christian, it is what is in your heart that matters. God requires love in your heart, love is the key to obeying Christ.

2 Timothy 2:15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.

Romans 13:8 Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law.

Easter is a day set aside for celebrating the fact that Jesus gave His life to save ours!

Acts 5:29-32 But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: “We ought to obey God rather than men. The God of our fathers raised up Jesus whom you murdered by hanging on a tree. Him God has exalted to His right hand to be Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.”

People tend to forget how important obedience is, we are required as Christians to obey Jesus. Jesus said, “IF YOU LOVE ME YOU WILL OBEY ME”.

John 14:15 If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

John 15:10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.

Salvation is a gift from God, obeying Jesus is our gift to God. If you love Jesus, you will obey Jesus and walk in love to help others, in forgiveness and kindness. Trying to help others rather than condemning them. Not approving sin, but giving a way out of sin, telling others about Jesus when you can. Just our life happenings can be a witness to the lost.

THE MESSAGE OF SALVATION IS FOR ALL

Romans 10:9-10 ESV because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

I pray everyone who reads this will seek to know God in the deep and wonderful way of Salvation, all who will accept Jesus as their Savior will receive Salvation and your name will be in the BOOK OF LIFE. Remember that accepting Jesus as Savior means repentance and change in your life!
